To support the students in the development of soft skills and communication ability to challenge the rigors of competitive tests and on-job-training in add-on or vocational courses.

About Career Counselling Cell :
Career counselling refers to counselling provided by career counsellors who help individuals/students choose an appropriate career based on their interests, skills and abilities. As per the rule of the UGC XI Plan, a Career Counselling Cell has been established in GDC Chaubattakhal. It has been formulated to address the diverse socio-economic challenges and geographic backgrounds of the heterogeneous population of students coming to the College. Availability of relevant and accessible information coupled with professional guidance to utilize the same can result in better career achievements outside the classrooms and help in the healthy progression of students.
Activities by Career Counselling Cell :
The first career counselling and guidance session was organized on 7th April 2022. In the session. The main objective of the session was to make students aware of the latest technologies like Google docs, Google forms, various platforms for online classes, etc. The knowledge of these technologies will not only help students to grasp the nerve of the current job market but also help in their overall personality development. The speakers of the session were Dr. Namrata Singh Panwar (Assistant Professor, Economics) and Dr. Praveen Dobhal (Assistant Professor, Botany)
